Hey all!

Just a quick post about the current situation my family and I are in… We are moving AGAIN. Yes, I know… We just moved which you can read about here. Long story short, we are moving back to Pacifica, the city which we call home. Its where I feel we belong and although we moved temporarily to Daly City, a city next door, we knew it was just a matter of time before we would move back to Pacifica. Our boys (and I) love their school and hubby and I decided that it was best for us to keep them there.

There’s GOOD and BAD news however. BAD news first?? Well, we’re moving from a 3 bedroom house to a 2 bedroom apartment which you can already imagine is going to be a big adjustment for us as far as space and privacy. GOOD news… Other than the fact that the boys will be closer to their school (YES! No more commuting), we will save a lot of MONEY and it will be a great opportunity for us to save for our future home which we intend to buy again in 5 years or less. We’re hopeful that we can rebuild our lives and really focus on reaching our full potential to be financially stable and maintain that security as best as we can. The past has really taught us the value of money and how we have such a huge responsibility to take control over our finances. Every penny counts and it doesn’t matter how much we make, its how we choose to spend and/or save that will make all the difference in reaching those dreams. Hard work and diligence does pay off, not waiting for things to just drop into our laps and chasing false hopes of winning the lottery although I did play a few times when the Mega Lotto hit a jackpot of 640M! LOL. :) It really comes down to our perspective and where we want to see ourselves in 5, 10, 20 years from now, which all begins the moment we take the first step towards making changes in our financial habits. I’m no expert in finance, just someone who really desires to seek a better life for her family and sometimes it means making sacrifices that are only temporary in order to gain that reward we hope for.

So, wish us luck and hope I can manage to post an update once we get settled in our new place :) I am looking forward to yet another new season of new beginnings and a journey towards a better future for my family and I. Blessings!

xo,
